Mission saving the #SpanishMoss leaves.
Experiment 2: let them outside (humid weather and nice air flow)
Experiment 1 was to keep them inside, but it's too dry. Had to water them too often (5+ times a day).
They are still alive, over a week after falling from the mother plant.

After many trials with many cloud servers (because I can't self host), I have decided upon #koofr (https://koofr.eu/). Been using it for a while, and has everything I needed. I suggest other privacy conscious folks to take a look at it. Allows #WebDav, which makes it super interesting
@plants
Hi all 🙂 I'm reading posts of this group since a few weeks and I enjoy them a lot. I don't have many plants in my flat that I can show, but today I took photos of my beloved #Chlorophytum 💛

Update on the Spanish Moss. I hanged the leaves to see if I can somehow save them. I will update on whether it lives or dies
Help @plants !
My Spanish Moss shed these leaves, don't know why (the plant is healthy and the leaves are alive). Could I grow another Spanish Moss plant using these? If so, how?
I finally discovered what was hurting my favourite #lithops. It's a little bug, not round but long-ish, very small and white, inside the leaves. The eggs were in the roots. Got rid of the eggs and used a q-tip drenched in alcohol to kill the little monsters. Now the plant is quarantined (in a glass container, not good, I know, but I don't have anything better).
I'll be watching the plant in case the bugs reappear. The other lithops don't seem to be infected.
