@canyakker Have had Juncos all winter, they're starting to leave now and I won't see them again til next November.
@richrollgardener I saw that the birds we usually see here all winter - Juncos, Siskins, and Redpolls - moved much further south this time.
Guess they knew we would get a hard winter, and there was not enough seeds around for them.

Mine never leave. They have found their forever home.
There is a teeny round bird flinging itself between the branches of the plum tree outside my window. Maybe a vireo or kinglet. It’s got a little white bar across the wing and it’s a bit yellowish but mostly a light brown or grey. So cute, whatever the heck it is.
