my alma mater is having an event called "To Give or Not to Give. Is Philanthropy Right for You?" and it's hosted by two alumni who will tell you "how these two alumni decided giving was right for them"
one of them is the director of a consultancy that advises nonprofits on fundraising
the other is literally the director of strategic fundraising at my college
hm, i wonder why they decided it was a good idea to give to my college
