Midwestern droughts have reduced the flow of the Mississippi. Groundwater depletion has caused coastal land to sink below sea level. Sea-temperature increases raised the sea level in the Gulf. The result: rising ocean waters are out-competing the Mississippi flow, pushing up the riverbed, and will reach New Orleans’ water treatment plant. The city’s water supply will be undrinkable, while the salt leaches poisons out of lead pipes. They have one month.

Wow! The Kia EV9 is really well priced (as probably expected from Kia). I don't think it should be compared with the Model Y as it's a different segment. It's fairly unique as the R1S and Modle X are vastly different and nearly 2x the price, so it's really pretty much on it's own here. I need to take another look at this since seeing it at the New York Auto Show.

Okay, I think I'm going to be disappointed, but I'd like to know which news organizations are **fully** in the #fediverse right now, and publish their stories to the fediverse.

Full text search has been merged in #Mastodon `main` branch, and will be in the next (and final?) 4.2.0 beta 🎉

It is opt-in, so it will take some time to be filled with people content as they enable their profile to be indexed, but this was one of the most wanted Mastodon features for some time.

We plan to deploy it to mastodon.social and mastodon.online in the coming days to have a bit more feedback on it and see how it behaves in the wild.
