A cell from the skin on th inside of my cheeks - spitting in a slide is all it takes to see them, they come loose all the time it seems. The nucleus and outer wall are visible but little else - I need something to stain them with.
Turns out microphotography is hard. Who knew.
Nice, finally got the video recording option working so now I can also try my hand at microvideography.
Still no luck finding Tardigrades though.
@mzedp for something so allegedly easy to find, they seem awfully elusive at times
@ladyparabellum I found a guide and I'm following their recommendations, but even for them it took quite a few samples and tries to find some. I'll get there someday!
