Maybe it's about time we tell every gobernment that closing borders due to the pandemic is not really a good practice.

I understand that the first thing that comes into everyone's mind when thinking about stopping the spread of the virus thingie is to prevent people from moving. That's a bad call.

Specially when everyone is still free to do whatever they want inside of their territory. You go to the snack bar and nobody is wearing a face mask inside. You go to the town square and there is a huge amount of people gathering, some of which without a mask, and doing whatever they want as if nothing happens. And nobody prevents it even if they are next to the town hall and the cops see it. I don't know how it is in other countries but at least on mine it is like this.

I'm fine with this but honestly, it's hypocrite imho to allow all of this but not allow people to go to other countries or whatever. You're not preventing anything. Either confine everyone again (better not though) or just give up already and let people do whatever. We are going to have to live with the virus forever so we might as well accept it and deal with it, and be done with this nightmare.
