In Ubuntu Sway Remix 24.10, Snap will be returned as an experiment. At the moment, the most critical problems with Snap packages in Wayland environments have been resolved, and since Ubuntu Sway Remix 24.10 is not an LTS release, this will allow testing Snap in real conditions, in the Sway environment. In case of detection of critical problems, Snap will be removed from the system until better times.
