i'm seeing a lot less hand wringing about property damage this go round and honestly, i think to a large extent people have figured out the game. you know the cops arent gonna investigate themselves. the courts never do anything. the politicians wont do anything. so whats left? burning down the precinct is basically the only way to cut the gordian knot
Honest to God? What’s the over—under on the police only arresting Chauvin so they could get him safely into custody until they feel like this has all “blown over,” because they know he’s safer there? Get him behind the thin blue line, throw some softball charges, acquit him in a few months and shuffle him off to some other department, or buy out his pension. ACAB.

Even if you absolutely hate Trump- and trust me, I hate Trump; I voted for Clinton- even if you utterly detest and despise him, between Trump and Twitter you should be rooting for Trump in this fight.
Why? Trump is a duly elected official. He can be unelected. Twitter is a private tech company, answerable only to their stockholders. They're not going anywhere. Do we *really* want private tech companies to be more powerful than governments and duly elected officials?
