Did you know #Caturday is a great day to catch William Shakespeare's "A Comedy of Errors" at our alma mater Case Western Reserve University?!

We went yesterday but you can still catch this play tonight and matinee tomorrow!

Though this play shares a lot of elements with commedia dell'arte it's actually inspired by the same Roman comedies that influenced commedia. But it's all that good farcical fun we love!

The different "tonal spaces" in this are actually part of a composition I'm working on (which moves through them much more quickly), but I thought I'd play with sitting amidst them in an #AmbientGuitar setting.

I'll use some of the tags recommended by #thesocialmusicnetwork for this.

8 days until the troupe's 19th birthday so we're retrospectively counting down continuing with Year 12 we were joined by famous commedia dell'arte troupe i Sebastiani out of Boston to finally stage "The Heterodyne Boys & the Race to the West Pole", a long-time project to adapt the play briefly scene in the pages of the "Girl Genius" gaslamp fantasy graphic novel series and with the creators themselves in the audience as Comic Guests of Honor at Marcon!

9 days until the troupe's 19th birthday so we're retrospectively counting down continuing with Year 11 when we brought our first newly created and full three-act production to the Popular Cultural & the Deep Past historic conference at the Ohio State University Center on Medieval & Renaissance Studies with our thematic commedia dell'arte parody "The TriWizard Tournament of 1594"!

(Please note: eight years later we cannot endorse this fandom anymore but we are still proud of our play including its representations of equality and inclusion are are always staples in Players' Patchwork Theatre Company!)
