"Escorpion Con Floracion" - Spanish for "Scorpion With Flowering." Pretty self-explanatory, though I should note that I can't think of any other artwork that combines a scorpion with flowers. Currently in a private collection. Gouache and watercolors, 2020.
"The Skid" - Painted is a North American Trumpeter Swan, having a little difficulty coming to a full and complete stop. Gouache, 2019.
This work ‘breathes’ the style of the old master Rembrandt, not in the last place because of the use of the same techniques in light and dark.

The responsible artist is Donovan Spaanstra, who also has three of his works hanging as a part of the permanent collection of the “Amsterdam Museum”.

is a former residential address in the Watergraafsmeer neighborhood and has been squatted for quite some years by the “Anarcha-Feminist Group”.
With two fierce, seemingly Asian styled, leopards on its facade it’s hard to miss.
The Ringdijk, which surrounds the Watergraafsmeer polder, functions both as a flood defense and a scenic street with a mix of modern and traditional homes.
To safeguard the area against rising water levels, the dike has recently been raised by approximately 30 centimeters.
