Wesley Moore<p>For development on my laptop I mostly use Chimera Linux in WSL. Sometimes I need a more… conventional distro. For that I've been using Debian, and not my preferred Arch Linux. Arch is officially x86_64 only, so I originally wrote it off on this Snapdragon X machine.</p><p>Tonight I remembered Arch Linux ARM exists, and they do have generic aarch64 root file systems for download. I did a `wsl --import` and it's working well. Not sure why I didn't think of this earlier.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.decentralised.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.decentralised.social/tags/ArchLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ArchLinux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.decentralised.social/tags/ARM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ARM</span></a></p>
