Aileen Lalor
Any advice on a tactical vote in Jagmeet Singh's riding? We've been redistricted so no specific data on how this riding has historically voted, NDP was in third place but now more or less level with Cons, with both Cons and NDP trending up, Libs trending down (caveat: this is all from 338 and Smart Voting so potentially rubbish). Lib candidate seems solid but Singh has all the name recognition, I'm ideologically NDP but don't want to help the Cons.

Charlie McHenry
In #Canada a snap election defined by economic anxiety and annexation threats is now a two-man race about who can stand up to Donald Trump. Advanced voting started today on what is a holiday weekend in the country. Poll close on April 28, so there’s ten days left in the race. Personally (as a US citizen), I respect Carney and value the fact he is not a career politician like his principal opponent, conservative PP, who shares many of Trump’s beliefs. We can’t have the far-right controlling all of N. America. Here's his story about how the different parties want to address one of the country's most challenging problems — the housing shortage. His conclusions: The Greens and New Democrats: Nonsense hokum. The Conservatives: Good, but incomplete. The Liberals: Great, but can we trust them? "The only thing to do now is to absolutely grill your local candidates on how they will, personally — not as a party — advocate for strong solutions to the housing crisis," Ling writes.
"We got into this mess because of endemic buck-passing and the ability for a small group of anti-development yahoos to hijack the conversation.
