Rhyothemis<p>I have MCAS and my daughter has ME symptoms. My daughter and I both take ALCAR and in order to avoid getting a choline depletion headache I also take citicoline (aka CDP-choline). I don't give my daughter citicoline since she eats ~ 4 whole eggs a week and also eats beans (I can't eat either). I've been thinking about giving her the supplement, though. I had been a bit concerned about TMAO, but I'm thinking the TMAO story is probably a red herring.*</p><p>* Microbial trimethylamine-N-oxide as a disease marker: something fishy?<br><a href="https://doi.org/10.1080/16512235.2017.1327309" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">doi.org/10.1080/16512235.2017.</span><span class="invisible">1327309</span></a></p><p>Trimethylamine N-Oxide in Relation to Cardiometabolic Health—Cause or Effect?<br><a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7284902/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/</span><span class="invisible">PMC7284902/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/TMAO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TMAO</span></a> <a href="https://zeroes.ca/tags/choline" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>choline</span></a></p>
