V<p>The previous two <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/kDrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kDrama</span></a> shows that I watched were disappointing: I stopped watching ‘Strong woman Do Bong Soon’ and really hated ‘Eve’. So I was a bit worried when I picked a new one …</p><p>But I made a great choice with ‘Doom at your service’.</p><p>I usually don’t like romance-only stories, so I was really curious to see how this would play out. And somehow it just worked for me.</p><p>It had enough humor without being too much, the romance was handled well within the rest of the story, and I thought the actors were great. Very emotional toward the end (😭) but just so so good.</p><p>Also: no annoying product placement. Like, at all!</p><p>The ending felt a bit weird (not bad or negative, just odd as a final scene), but it was still good.</p><p>Definitely worth watching!</p><p><a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/DoomAtYourService" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoomAtYourService</span></a></p>

I feel like his character in <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/DoomAtYourService" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoomAtYourService</span></a> even had that written in since he never ate during the drama.</p>
Sean 📱<p>Going into it, I actually heard about the ending, particularly that he turned human. While it did stop some of the shock, I could still enjoy the show.</p><p>I think Park Bo Young was much more interesting of a character here than in her previous KDramas. It was really nice seeing her on screen again. </p><p>This is my second time seeing Seo In Guk, after him in Deaths Game. Not bad.</p><p>I like how they resolved Tak Dong Kyung's writer friend's story. Glitch<p>Honestly, attempts to organize my show watching fail more often than not. Like, my plan was to watch <a href="https://ohai.social/tags/MyLoveMixUpThai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MyLoveMixUpThai</span></a> before yesterday, but instead I watched some <a href="https://ohai.social/tags/LoveSea" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LoveSea</span></a>, and now, when it's more strategic to watch LS, I'm watching MLMU.</p><p>I also spent some of yesterday skimming through, and crying over, scenes from <a href="https://ohai.social/tags/DoomAtYourService" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoomAtYourService</span></a>. There were SO many hilarious lines and moments in this one. I also enjoyed her a lot in #DailyDoseOfSunshine. I didn't really like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon but her performance was very good.

I enjoy watching an episode once with a #watchparty and then the second time to focus more on the details that I missed. I'm currently watching #MyDemon that way and have seen a couple of episodes 3 times. Since I'm pretty new to watching TV at all, I haven't watched a series a second time after being away from it. #DoomAtYourService is high on the list for a future rewatch.
EllenInEdmonton :mstdnca:#EndOfYearDramaChallenge2023 #kdrama Day 7: Favourite character I have SO many beloved characters who feel like old friends but one of the earliest that I was fascinated by was Myeol Mang, Doom 멸망이 from #DoomAtYourService. Seo In Guk did an amazing job of this complex role and the show was a delight to watch.

Scenery, sets, actors, clothing, music, writing. This was part of my Park Bo Young quest. I thought she was fabulous. She &amp; Seo In Guk have wonderful chemistry.</p><p>The storylines delve into creation &amp; destruction, rebirth &amp; death, growth through love &amp; suffering, how we need to lay down our burdens &amp; love ourselves, how choosing the more difficult journey may be the best way forward. I found it very philosophical. I can't complain about character development. There's some overlap with the themes in Goblin but it's very unique in many ways. <br>I prefer to watch only one series at a time, along with the <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/watchparty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>watchparty</span></a> but I'm getting stuck in multiples at the same time! I have one more episode of <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Goblin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Goblin</span></a> to rewatch and then move on to the one I'll miss on Sunday. <br>I have to rewatch and wait for the next <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/MyLovelyLiar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MyLovelyLiar</span></a> shows. <br>I've watched one episode of <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/DP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DP</span></a> and will probably take that slowly because it's heavy.</p>
