I'm pretty happy with these <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HarborFreight" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HarborFreight</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Bauer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bauer</span></a> modular toolboxes I picked up today. I've got about 80% of my tools in them now. This is heaps better than my old Rubbermaid totes that I'm amazed I never got a hernia lifting. I can lift each of these individually and they're all an acceptable weight.</p><p>The plan is to take them with me in my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Toyota" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Toyota</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Tacoma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tacoma</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Truck" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Truck</span></a> when I'm going somewhere a bit more spicy than the mall.</p><p>I ordered several more because the local store is out.</p>

I've got a lot of tools that I like to take with me when 4x4ing in my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Tacoma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tacoma</span></a>. In the past I used tool rolls but they kinda suck for day-to-day use. There's a sale at <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HarborFreight" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HarborFreight</span></a> on a rolling tool cart meant for the garage but then I wouldn't have my tools with me in the truck.</p><p>The PackOut-style systems are interesting but how do I actually hold tools in them without them being a jumbled mess? And so they don't rattle constantly?</p>

They have random shrapnel like LED flashlights, shop towels, flathead screwdrivers, tape measures and AA batteries for super cheap, like 99c.
