PC<p>One of my favorite historical religious events is the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Beeldenstorm" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Beeldenstorm</span></a> aka the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/IconoclasticFury" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>IconoclasticFury</span></a>. </p><p>After the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/printingpress" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>printingpress</span></a> allowed mass distribution of the <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Bible" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Bible</span></a> in common language, <a href="https://mas.to/tags/tracts" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>tracts</span></a> and religious <a href="https://mas.to/tags/polemics" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>polemics</span></a> became common. In the mid <a href="https://mas.to/tags/16thCentury" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>16thCentury</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Protestants" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Protestants</span></a> rose up against all the pervasive <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Catholic" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Catholic</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/idolatry" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>idolatry</span></a> and church wealth.
