Crone Cold Kate Sherrod<p>Today I met and failed to photograph a lovely therapy dog named Kenai, a white German Shepherd so chill I could have thought she had a Great Pyranese in her ancestry. Her mom brings her around the medical facility where both of my parents are still recovering from their recent hospitalizations. Have developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) which is no fun, nor is withdrawal from OxyContin which they had me in for five weeks until the CRPS diagnosis meant a change to neuropathic meds. </p><p>Next week the ‘very aggressive physio’ begins, which looks quite brutal - using a computer controlled machine to force knee flexion and break up scar tissue.</p><p>Here’s a photo of Nala, now 35kg at 8 months and starting her first season, bless her.
