Plsik (born in 320 ppm) 🇨🇿🇺🇦🇵🇸<p>2/3<br>And then I think, if I wasn't so tired from work every day, how much good food would I make!<br>But even if I didn't need the money for the work, I'd still do the work.<br>Maybe the solution is less work. But inflation is so high now, how would we get by without money?<br>Many questions, no answers. So far. But the kimchee is in the pot and the yeast is doing its job.<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kimchee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kimchee</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/food" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>food</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/social" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>social</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/socialwork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>socialwork</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fyp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fyp</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/question" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>question</span></a></p>
Plsik (born in 320 ppm) 🇨🇿🇺🇦🇵🇸<p>Questioning while making kimchee.<br>Today I discovered that the temperature in the fridge was set too low by mistake. Some of the vegetables froze. I hate to throw away any bit of food, so I decided to make kimchee at this unusual time of year to save the vegetables. You know, you think it's gonna be for a while... But then, what if I chopped up the chili I have stashed? And what if I add the mushrooms that were in the soup...<br>1/3<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kimchee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kimchee</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/food" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>food</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/social" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>social</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/socialwork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>socialwork</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fyp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fyp</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/question" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>question</span></a></p>
RebelGeek99<p>Ugh. I followed the instructions on the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/seasoning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>seasoning</span></a> packet and it turned out like 🤮 Maybe it's just the ingredients idk <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://zeroes.ca/@PacificNic" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>PacificNic</span></a></span> ? I used whatever cabbage, cuke, &amp; radishes I grabbed at the store for a first attempt. Obviously flavor would be off with the wrong ingredients but may at least give me some idea of how far off my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kimchee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kimchee</span></a> seasoning flavor is, eh? Something is definitely fermenting in there though, it smells strong enough even my COVID damaged nose picks it up.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fermentedfoods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fermentedfoods</span></a></p>

Sand Hill Thicket<p>Making a couple of different kimchees today because I have so much cabbage coming out of the <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/garden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>garden</span></a>. This cabbage was a little buggy even after plunge washing it (there was a big fat worm in it), but no worries, I just cut the munched part off and used the rest! Still a lot of cabbage. <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/kimchee" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kimchee</span></a> <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/GrowYourOwn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GrowYourOwn</span></a> <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/Food" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Food</span></a> <a href="https://med-mastodon.com/tags/GardeningMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GardeningMastodon</span></a></p>
