Last time there was the unwanted resonance a bit below the target frequency.
I got the thing back to my bench, hooked up the vna again, and opened the housing, and got two additional wires inside, and this cured the problem.
To see if a can replicate this, i made a second filter, all the same like this one.
With the additional wires at the same places too.
To make it more easy for me to calibrate this thing, i added setscrews to all 3 elements this time.
To my surprise
this time the unwanted second resonance effect was there again, but this time on the higher side of the target frequency. This time i cant get it off.
I see now, cant replicate the working one reliable.
I assume the long cavity comes to close to 1/4 weavelength and get unstable.
I dont know for sure. RF is pure voodoo.
So lets see to get further, new folded cavity design, get the resonator elements count 1 level up to 4.
