The best part about Star Trek is you’ll be watching some episode about an alien disease and then realize that it’s actually about HIV and the stigma around that.

Or it’s an alien prison and you suddenly realize it’s an internment camp and a mirror to Nazi-era fascism.

It’s best when it sneaks up on you and it finally clicks into place.
