You could be doing a lot of different things to defend them, this is not one of them.
Also, given Israel is defending itself against terrorists who attempted to invade and genocide them, you should really be more supportive.
Are you aware that Israel is occupied land? That the occupation has been achieved with massive largely unacknowleged violence? That the pervading rhetoric in Israel that dehumanises palestinians is deeply fascist in nature? That the deliberate torture, murder, and elimination of Palestinians and those brave souls trying to get the word out about the genocide - is evidence in itself, of the genocide?
You don't get to talk of defence while part of team genocide.

So who's land is it, if it's occupied? Does it belong to the migrants your ancestors deposited here when you exiled my ancestors, while colonizing this place your-sleves? I worked in the Balkans after the war. My Serb friends used to say the same kind of thing. One of my colleagues had been a sniper on the hills above Sarajevo. He was/is a lovely fella.

If the settlers (what a fucking concept!) had created a society where all were valued then this would be a different conversation. They didn't. You missed the point of my post (you only read the first sentance); it really isn't their land, it's ours. We were here first, your ancestors displaced them from some other part of the region, and when your ancestors exiled mine, brought them there and named the land after a group we had already driven out to make sure it would be difficult for us to come back.

We are deliberately avoiding civilian casualties whenever possible, and distributing aid to Palestinians, even though it is unpopular to do so. But if you don't feel like beliving facts, get this: what were doing is much too ad-hoc to be genocide. Genocide must be systematic and organized. It can involve dedicating the military to killing civilians, or death camps, or whatever. But when a civilian gets killed by our wepons, it's never because we targeted them directly.
Like those people in the Lebanon when those pagers went off killing people indiscriminately?
Look at who you stand next to: Trump and Bibi - two of the most inhuman murderers in recent history. Both consolidating their positions, to avoid prison, by pushing whole litanies of fascist lies.

Everything you say is contradicted by independent evidence. The aid workers demonstrating that children, journalists, medics are being deliberately targeted. The appalling abuse of palestinian hostages, held without charge in conditions of torture.

Just so you know, in case this information isn't available for you: there is absolutely zero doubt that the IDF is not avoiding civilian casualities, presumably because like you, they see collective punishment as acceptable. never mind asking themselves why an occupied and oppressed population might spring up a theocratic, violent and murderous response.
