Anyone else noticed a change in YouTube ads over the last few months?
They now seem predominantly ultra Right Wing, consisting of prepper supplies, gun paraphernalia, and conspiracy theorist tripe. While a couple of channels I watch regularly are by folks in red states, none of them are politically related (mostly off road stuff originating in Utah), the majority of them could, objectively, be viewed as having more of a liberal bent. Is YouTube advertising now just predominantly MAGA?
@CFBrand3rd I haven’t noticed that, but I don’t watch YouTube much (used to be absolutely never not so long ago, in my pre #WeirdCar days).
I’ll pay attention and report back. Mostly watch some of our mutual WeirdCar friends, and recently some BMW i3 stuff, as well as an amazing series on the demise of the British car industry, which I never understood: rise and fall of Austin, Morris, BMC, Rootes Group, British Leyland, Rover Group etc.
You’d recognize all the names.

Truly fascinating. Compare that to #Peugeot, #Citroën and #Renault. Peugeot had to absorb Citroën, sadly, but they continued to make interesting cars, and they have interesting plans with the #DS brand.
#Stellantis may be based in 
but the CEO is the former CEO of PSA Group (Peugeot SA) and from what I’ve read, it was more of a takeover of #FCA than a merger.
