Decentralization against AI:
Big Tech's sole interest is to control the narratives through biases, algorithms, #AI.
In the past, they bought newspapers and journalists; now they buy platforms and bots. But without users, they have no value. Underfeeding #centralized networks is the way against AI️
1/5
#Fediverse instances are basically just a person with a plugged-in computer. Those servers get overwhelmed quickly, so filling them with #AI and bots doesn't seem like a good idea if you're the owner. So let's say that pruning service is intrinsic️
2/5
If at some point the owner sells their instance (server) and someone wants to buy it, you can easily migrate to the instance next door, or even to another platform without losing your relationships in the #fediverse, making the network and its servers worthless ️
3/5
Generating bonds of trust in these #fediverse ecosystems, and building a distribution of information with maximum #transparency, avoiding exposure to the redistribution of information by #BigTech, is the only remedy against #AIgen ️
4/5
Adapting to their opaque, biased, and energetically #unsustainable tools is the trap they're selling us as something unappealable. Soon, #AI tools will have unmarked prices, and access to global production will be strongly tied to #socialclass ️
