@futzle ensure a vacuum around the building, put the measuring tape at the bottom, in view of a high speed camera. Chuck the barometer off the building such that it is filmed. Measure the speed from the footage. Calculate the height through kinetic energy (t0)=potential energy (t1).
@iwein I like that by creating a vacuum you have rendered the barometer even more of a deadweight! Good work.
