@markarayner It’s generational. I hired a twenty-something not long ago, and she used exclamation points freely. Once we all got over our biases, it uplifted the tone in everyone’s communications. Seriously!

I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t know who F. Scott Fitzgerald is let alone cares what he thinks of her exclamation points.
