Today’s listening is ‘Till We Have Faces’, the 1984 album by Steve Hackett.
Steve Hackett’s wife was the Brazilian artist Kim Poor and in 1983/4 Hackett decided to record a rock album in Brazil with Brazillian musicians, something that was very unusual at the time.
Just listen to the instrumental second half of ‘Matilda Smith-Williams Home For The Aged’ and you could be hearing the future Paul Simon!
Although interesting, it's hard to really like this album.
