#Introduction 2.0 Hello my fellow Fedizens. I've done things like neuro research and editing at an international law firm. But right now I just hang out in the Fedi and do any activist work I can. I want to work with everyone to get ourselves out of this autocratic, white supremecist, finance-capitalist dictatorship hurtling us all into total collapse. I think I know a way out, but I struggle to write "persuasive" essays. Please wish me luck with that and reach out to discuss if you're curious.

The books, Debt: the First 5000 Years and The Global Minotaur are helpful supplementary reading, but I can and will explain the key points from them as soon and as well as I can. Forming an international labor union and associated citizens assemblies is first.

@resl welcome, welcome! I'm curious, what kind of activist work have you been involved in? Any #1 issue that you're especially passionate about? 
@paul The most I've done is help with labor union organizing and raising funds for mutual aid/sending aid.
Related work I do (and it is possible this is not going to help) is figuring out a holistic strategy to unify antifascists around the world and make unified demands to international organizations to transform what it is "most people" consider international law and custom, into what most people consider an ethical social contract they would sign.

@resl Ou, we love #mutualaid here! but yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes pragmatism demands you do what you can to make things better now, even if what you'd really prefer to do is build something new and better for the long term.
@paul Yes-I think mutual aid is crucial now and will become the basis of the global monetary system if I have my way with the longterm activist work I'm trying to do. It could happen...

@WrenArcher Thank you, lovely kind fedi-friend! Chose these cause I felt like I was having a "pretty day" you know 
(I used to use instagram so I think I'm still adjusting to an online culture other than one where everyone's posting up-close photos and videos of their faces in every possible expression with 0 shame about the vapidity of just looking at each other and thinking, "Cute" all the time lol. The moral injury of using Meta was intolerable but the mindlessness of it was so fun lol)

Not even sure why I use it still. And I have it locked down so it's not like anyone can see any of my photos unless they follow me. But yeah... totally get the mindlessness and a handful of friends saying, "cute."
Here's one from a long thread from me describing not wanting to go to the gym that most definitely would not be an Insta or VSCO-girl type pic.
The thread is kinda funny if i do say so myself.
