@anneapplebaum I remember reading an article once that many of the dictators in exile in Russia were all in the same small city in the Urals. I have always thought there could be a great absurdist play about all of them preening and sniping at each other in their useless exile.
@seanbala @anneapplebaum Some time ago, I made some wisecracks about getting a bunch of small islands in the Pacific and setting each up as a home for a former dictator. It would get them out of the way, and they would feel comfortable having their own domain. They could have "state visits" with each other to reminisce, All for a "small fee."
