Right. Or maybe keep the libraries and use reading as an #education tool to help students so they can self-regulate their #emotions and behavior as they grow into responsible adults in the #economy? Nah. That'd be smart #politics and good #policy.
It's worth noting that the State Of Texas has taken over Houston ISD. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it is one of the largest school districts in the country and can't be trusted to run itself ... /s
