Well despite all of your fantastic #gardening advice mastodonians, I appear to have fully murdered all my broccoli seedlings.
Sigh.
It was my first attempt ever and I made a buuunch of mistakes. My basil has somehow survived my incompetence.
I’ll try again in the fall.

@JimmyB man it is such a bummer. I went in to it with low expectations but when they came up I got so excited.
@Jackiemauro I know so very well what you mean! We have endemic potato blight in #Jersey and every year I lose a crop of spuds or toms, whatever I do to halt it. Drives me mad. Lost a whole bed of Jersey Royals 2 weeks before harvest last year. Grrrr
@JimmyB so brutal! It seems wrong many months of work should just turn to mush.
@Jackiemauro it does! But it also makes the successes sweeter! I’ve got fabulous purple sprouting broccoli right now and no idea why it’s so good this year
