Munster yesterday. Beautiful 14th C building: lovely visit

A row of single seat church pews with intricate carving on each stretching from foreground to distance
Two strange pew end carvings in dark wood - animal like but not recogniseable
A rounded end to the church with tall arched multi-coloured stained glass across 5 arches
The main church with pews and high vaulted roof, large organ at the far end

@frauxirah we didn’t - it was an impulse stop on the way to Thun really, but I will. It’s such a lovely city

@JimmyB Bit of a shame the weather's not great. Both Bern and Thun are so much prettier in the szn. Though I guess that's true for any place. 🤔

@frauxirah yes - would have loved more sun, but were predicted rain and didn’t get it so will take that as a win. Couldn’t see the mountains today either but will be back…

@frauxirah I was there last summer on a hot day and we found ourselves walking up the river with a billion people not wearing much, carrying dry bags and wishing we could join them
