@RoboticistDuck Visited Okinawa, first and only time, over a decade ago. Had heard they were growing coffee near or in Yanbaru area, but couldn't fit it in the 3 days trip. Seems interest increased since then and apart from #Okinawa attempts to grow coffee have started in Kyushu, Okayama, and Ogasawara (where they're growing cacao, too); but yields are apparently still low.
