@fripi @yehuda_feldmann sadly that story involves a gentleman in our town who ran a small izakaya. I bumped into him and his dog about 10 years ago when I was hiking. They were foraging for mushrooms. A couple years after that i learned he had been mauled by a bear. Apparently he and his dog stumbled upon a mama bear and her cubs and the dog went after the cubs so mama bear went after him to get the dog to stop. My own run in with a mama and her cubs two years ago was much more pleasant.
