The Bright Side

We made a silly mistake. A few months ago, we increased email frequency from once to twice a week, thinking it would create more content. Urban planners do this all the time, trying to ease road congestion by adding lanes, but it only adds more traffic.

Two editions a week didn’t make news easier to digest—really, it became a chore. Many of you wrote to us, and honestly, we'd begun to feel that way too. Our aim has always been to show enough good news to balance the bad, but we've realized it’s been overwhelming.

So we're moving back to one edition weekly. Expect more curation and less comprehensive coverage. We’ll select 10-12 top stories weekly across various categories, accessible to everyone, with paid subscribers getting extra content!

As a thank you, this week’s paid edition is available to all. Your patience is appreciated as we refine our format.

Before diving into the news, have you listened to our podcast, Hope is a Verb? Amy recorded interviews from Clinton Global Initiative, including one with Jane Goodall—it's a perfect glimpse into our mission with Fix The News.
