I understand all US Military members with security clearances are legally permitted to check out Top Secret documents, take them home and even show their friends and neighbors the information. The says so and they are pretty sure about this.

My advice to military members before doing this is to ask your security manager. But Republicans are smart fellows and they've been pretty adamant that it's OK to just leaving Top Secret stuff laying around.
