Is that a #Citroën Méhari beach car? I think it is! The Méhari was basically a 2CV with a beach body.
The #Méhari weighed approximately 535 kg (1,179 lb), with the fully independent suspension, chassis and the 602 cm³ flat twin petrol engine of the 2CV6 (6 for 600).

@ZeKik The most famous Mehari in L.A. was featured in the 1971 scfi film “The Omega Man” and was drive by Charlton Heston in the film. Truly mind blowing at the time…

@ZeKik Yeah, I’ve been terrible at social media since the Boring Company Bully bought Twitter and brought on the Great Disillusionment. I’ve bounced around here, Bluesky, and even Reddit, looking for something that doesn’t exist anymore. Mastodon keeps reminding me that it’s *NOT* Twitter, and muscle memory trips me up.
I’m gonna try to do better…

@ZeKik Definitely a Mehari! If you're interested, #JonnySmith of #LateBrakeShow fame (#YouTube) did a show on the modern, electric version in the last week or so.
