Talk Talk - The Color of Spring

Talk Talk pivoted hard into “real” instruments here, with a really great set of songs, a couple of key session players (Steve Winwood, Robbie McIntosh, David Rhodes), and an open, lovely production style.

Probably their most approachable album, with their hit “Life’s What You Make It”, which was pretty ubiquitous for a while…

@dnanian I have all of theirs (on CD). This one is certainly *a lot* more approachable than its follow-up “Spirit of Eden”… which I love (though, unlike this one, I really have to be in the right frame of mind for).

@chailey Yeah, I have them all on CD, too - but I finally replaced them with some LPs (that actually come with CD versions).

I do really like Spirit of Eden, but there's no question they're well out of the “accessible mainstream” at that point.

@chailey A quick correction - the new LPs come with DVDs of the LPs as high resolution versions.

Music from the 80ies and more

@dnanian Wonderful album. I tried to do a remix of my favourite song "Happiness is easy" but gave up after about 40 versions.
