The image is a close up of the side of a pink peony flower, showing 1/3 of the flower, opened half way, such that the petals are pointing up towards the sky. 4/5 of the frame is the bloom itself, with the lower 1/5 revealing the green stem supporting the bloom and a few small, almond shaped green leaves. There are 11 oval pink petals that are the focus of the image, darker at the base and a bit lighter towards the top, which are set in layers from outer (closest to the camera) to centre. Their delicate nature is evident in the visible texture and crepe-paper look to the petals. Poking out between the pink are the tops of the yellow stamens in the middle of the bloom. It is peaceful and calm energy.
