@BeAware I didn't even know if I set the language of this post properly, and I was pretty sure there's nothing in the (Tusky) ui right now that allows me to do it in a way that I wouldn't consider prohibitively difficult... I was wrong, but still...
I don't think it's fair to put that all on the user. So improving ux to set the language is also part of "fix your shit", imho.
@iwein it's just as visible as everything else...idk how much more visible it could be tbh...
@BeAware I'm neither a power user nor a UX expert, but usually I am better than average at doing stuff with UIs. The fact that I failed to intuitively do it well, and failed to figure out it was a thing after more than a year, is an illustration of an opportunity (and my imperfections too of course).
It may be solved through marketing via #fediTips , or through automatic language detection, or something else I didn't think of. The button color seems perfectly fine to me..
@BeAware for reference, looks like this in Tusky. Now that I see it, I can't think of an excuse I never tried it, but here I am admitting to it
