Did you read the comments to Litman’s post? They suggest that after late March NY Governor Hochul can remove Adams from office, and the way he’d be replaced is at the next usual election. But if she does it before then a special election (within @80 days) must be held, and polls suggest Andrew Cuomo could win such a special election.
