Two elements in the installation "100 Live and Die" by Bruce Nauman
Benesse House Museum, Naoshima Island, Japan, March
Tadao Ando is the architect here again
EDIT: fixed the location, Benesse not Chichu
Yves Klein, Blue Venus
Benesse House Museum, Naoshima, Japan
EDIT: location fix, as above
@mike_edwards If I may, this is the Benesse House Museum, not the Chichu Museum.
@David You are correct! Chichu just has the Monet, de Maria, and Turrell pieces in the Ando spaces. I'll fix that
@David If I'd taken photos in Chichu, I'd be in jail or something—they don't mess around. Bit of a whirlwind museum day for us, but thanks for the catch!
@mike_edwards LOL. Some people do (usually the inner courtyard) but actually I approve of the no picture policy (same for the Teshima Art Museum), the atmosphere would be ruined if everyone was taking pictures left and right.
@David Oh, 100%! Like, if you're trying to capture Turrell's work on camera, yeesh, you've not understood the assignment
