Sure, why not use the costs to build something in 2019 as the basis of a plan? It’s not like any costs have gone up since then. And sure a $500K original sign that was infested with rats & not to code cost almost $800K to rebuild will cost $500K now

And yeah, why not go to tender to get actual costs before discussing feasibility? We just pay some of the highest taxes in the province, who cares how much we spend right? Is there even power & internet existing at site yet?
Toronto had that in place for the 2nd sign that was $760K plus $85K/yr & that bid was almost $200K less than any other bidder. It’s not like any of this info is public or anything.
