Contestants in the new season of The Amazing Race include Courtney Ramsey (a 34-year-old registered nurse) and Jasmin Carey (a 34-year-old nurse practitioner) who are a queer Black couple from Wilmington, North Carolina. The season — which will air on CBS and be available to stream on Paramount+ — also features a gay male married couple.

The CTV series started with 11 teams including two with Indigenous participants. Former pro basketball player Michael Linklater and his son Amari, members of Thunderchild First Nation in Saskatchewan, are the first Indigenous father/son duo to compete in the race. Well that’s it. I’ve caught up on all completed seasons of the Amazing Race. Sad to be out of content but really happy I can now delete this horrible Paramount+ crApp.
lol watching Amazing Race and they’re in Seattle (yay finally!) and they ask this laid back dude in a hat for directions, and he says, “It’s for the Amazing Race,” while giving his girlfriend a look that that says, “What you haven’t heard of it before? It’s kind of underground.”

Anybody watching the #amazingrace and the couple Amanda and Vinny ?? that guy is a fucking di*k— she is in an abusive relationship. She has dated this guy for four years. She needs to dump his fucking ass. He thinks he’s so superior and constantly berates her —this is psychological abuse. Get out Amanda while you CAN!!

I’m on the last full season of Amazing Race. 35 seasons, seen every one. I’d power through the current ongoing season, but I’m itching to unsubscribe from Paramount+ and purge this horrible app from my iPad forever.*
* Until they have another show I must see that I can’t get anywhere else.
I want to see a documentary on how they make The Amazing Race. Hell, I’d watch a whole docuseries. Like how do they arrange for and compensate the locals who host the challenges? Like these Vietnamese vendors who sell stuff from boats that they’re making these contestants deliver fruit to? I feed on glimpses of the other teams’ camera crew because it reveals the inner workings somewhat.
