Carlo Acutis, a British-born Italian boy who built websites to spread his faith, will be proclaimed the Catholic Church's first saint of the millennial generation this month, elevating him to the same level as Mother Teresa and Francis of Assisi.

Ci sono luoghi carichi del bisogno di spiritualità dell'uomo (si, anche un gaudente e libertino come me ne sente la necessità) come Assisi.
Il punto è che io ed il mio cane siamo rimasti fuori dalle basiliche dedicate a San Francesco, credo il più vicino alla natura ed agli animali...
Ne abbiamo goduto ugualmente senza entrare nel "mercato del tempio"

Last destination in Assisi, Umbria, Italy on 20 Oct 2024. After walking along the narrow streets, the vista opened out to reveal the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. Shown is the Upper Basilica, then a view of the Lower Basilica and some scenery from the Basilica. Due to Sunday service, no photography was allowed inside.

After the foggy morning in Perugia, it was off to visit Assisi, Umbria, Italy, on 20 Oct 2024. We started off at the Porta Nuova on the east and, after walking down the street, our first stop was the Basilica di Santa Chiara which "is dedicated to and contains the remains of Clare of Assisi, a follower of Francis of Assisi and founder of the Order of Poor Ladies, known today as the Order of Saint Clare."
