Got word today that Val kilmer has passed. He had a film career with many great roles, and I have a friend who once went on a double date where Val and Cher were the other couple!

I myself was once an extra in the #OliverStone movie where he played Jim Morrison of #TheDoors umpt thirty some yrs ago. Back then Val had been dating Mare Winingham but onscreen in that movie Meg Ryan played Jim Morrison's girlfriend Pam. My pals in bands like #RKL and The Melvins were also extras in the Doors movie gaggle that waited around between crowd shots, when one night I got picked to jump around a bonfire 🔥, and get extra pay for appearing nude! Val had his own trailer in San Mateo Pulgas Water Temple but poor #Billyidol had to share a teepee with me, and a bunch of nude girls wrapped in Indian blankets... Those were the days my friend,we thought they'd never end...#RIP #ValKilmer
