Today three Royal Air Force (RAF) C-130J Hercules will be flying across the UK to mark the aircraft's retirement.
On 14 June the planes will fly across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, covering locations of significance to the Hercules' service and 47 Squadron which is standing down to await a new role.
The Hercules has been flown by the RAF since 1966 in support of UK military and humanitarian relief operations.
