I'm loving the cans from Arbor Brewery as they are larger than the usual cans and have a pint of beer in them (or 568ml) so I'm having to get my pint glasses out of the cupboard
Love this beer and I've had it many times, it is a historical beer as it is a Heather ale. This bottle was a Christmas present from my in laws as my father in law also loves this beer
On a small pub crawl for @mathzy's birthday and we're the first to arrive at the first pub.
Wife's on the Old Rosie cider so I'll have to keep an eye on her later. I'm on the Great Bustard premium bitter from Stonehenge Ales. Nice, rounded, classic bitter, 4.8%
Decided to break out a fancy 15% Imperial Stout called DDF Churros and had the flavour of deep fried churros and is very sweet with hints of cinnamon and other delicious things #TOTP #CraftAle #CraftBeer #VaultCity
Good evening everyone I hope you are well on this chilly Thursday
1. Had a busy but productive day at work which will hopefully make tomorrow easier before I go on holiday
2. My Oodie blankets arrived and they are lovely and soft, pretty big and not too weighty so they should be good for snuggling on the sofa
3. As I'm feeling pretty cheerful this evening I've opened a lovely Craft Beer called In The Trees by Burnt Mill Brewery
As I'm on holiday I've been drinking a wee bit quicker tonight as this is my second beer which is a very moreish gose with lychee, hibiscus and sea salt from Burnt Mill brewery #TOTP #CraftAle #CraftBeer #BurntMillBrewery
Second beer of the night an 8% DIPA called Perpetual Fog (which seems fitting for the week or more of featureless grey clouds we have had in Sheffield) from Burnt Mill brewery #TOTP #CraftAle #CraftBeer #BurntMillBrewery
Hello everyone I hope you have all had a great week despite the global news, hopefully we can have a lovely two hour break from the world, it's been a busy week for me so I'm looking forward to a relaxing couple of hours. I'm also having a break from the sour beers so the current one is a wheat beer from Burnt Mill brewery #TOTP #CraftAle #CraftBeer #BurntMillBrewery
This time next weekend we'll be heading off to London ahead of our final trip abroad this year so it's one last chance for a visit to our local brewery and maybe a last chance for decent beer for a while (although we've made a note of some breweries where we're going).
First up: DSB (Dolly's Special Brew), the only fined ale they do here, and it's so drinkable. Almost quaffable.
Second beer of the night has been opened and it is a 6.4% sour beer called Singapore Sling by Vault City #TOTP #CraftBeer #CraftAle #VaultCity
As someone who’s been involved in the beer industry for a number of years, people sometimes ask me what’s my favourite beer. Well I’m just about to have one of them. It’s the one I get to drink after spending six hours cutting down a large 15ft high conifer hedge. As long as it’s cool clean and refreshing I’m really really going to enjoy it. #CraftAle #beer #gardening #barnsley
Exciting beer for tonight while watching Top of the Pops it is a Lime flavoured sour beer that tastes just like lime skittles #TOTP #CraftAle #CraftBeer #VaultCity
Well I'll be tipsy soon as I've just opened a 14.5% imperial stout with the flavours of a deep fried caterpillar cake. It is very rich, chocolatey and does have hints of the icing to get on this cakes #CraftBeer #CraftAle #VaultCity #TOTP
In the garden, making a dent in the beer in our fridge, subjecting the neighbours to music (Black Sabbath followed by Enya just now, keeping everyone on their toes), watching a pigeon trying to woo a lady, loving just how many bees are flitting about the raspberry canes; a few dozen over the last couple of hours, easily. Can't wait until some of the fruit ripens.
Craftsman English style mild ale by Untied Brewing. Smooth, malty, with toffee and dark fruit notes.

We're down at the Rose in June pub here in Portsmouth (with @MathC amongst others) for the annual charity folk and beer festival. Over fifty ales and ciders, folk singers, Morris dancers, and all raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Great cause, great event.
Have I drunk enough to sing along with sea shanties? You bet I have!
In case anyone was in any doubt as to whether I'd be able to watch this England game without drinking this evening.
