Beware Of Dog

I shot this on a sunny April morning in 2015 with my #Nikon #D600

I was in the midst of focusing & setting my exposure when I saw the dog... I snapped this exposure, and quickly threw all my gear in the back of my truck as the dog was charging me.

A braver photographer might have stayed to catch the shots of the bared teeth dog with drool dripping, frozen in time just before the moment of impact. Not me.

There is a shadow being cast on the silo from a roof vent on the barn that evokes a cross. There is a dog in the foreground which appears ready to charge the photographer. Though it is still, it's muscles are flexed and it's attention is fully focused on the photographer... AKA me. That's when I left!
