#yegbike commute: a chilly -1°C with southeastern breeze. Traffic quite blessedly light - if only every morning could be this hassle free. Not many bike commuters, but lots of scooters. Plenty of joggers seem to be enjoying this fine crisp morning. Geese were quiet, other birds got a chance to fill the air with birdsong. #earworm ‘The Air That I Breathe’, The Hollies https://youtu.be/EozcNss6A8U?si=zPJXxVMj5ir7YNTD
When I need to replace a mixing session #earworm, this (among many others) always does the trick ^^
Good Friday by Mental As Anything - an excellent earworm for the holiday weekend, written about Joh Bjelke-Petersen's state of fear back in the 80s but equally applicable to our contemporary senile clown across the Pacific

Earworm: Since I was on an Ian Thomas kick earlier this week, here's his biggest single. This one really calls out for a "Ten-fifty, CHUM!" jingle at the beginning.
#earworm can anyone e plain to me how I managed to get “Anchors Aweigh” stuck in my head, this morning?
#yegbike commute: a chilly +1°C, due to gusty and significant northwesterly winds. Other than that, great riding conditions. Birdsong less, but still providing a nice soundtrack. A few rabbits, not much else on the paths early in the morning. The mental soundtrack #earworm is João Gilberto singing ‘I’m Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover’ in Portuguese. Mind must be still scrambled from the wind. https://youtu.be/O5wpdhL2YMY?si=oLnaudoptGVgRFpi

Had to look up Pentagenarian. Turns out I'm one too!
I don't know about you, but my morning #earworm postings are a result of my internal mental radio that never stops.
This week I've had a little bluetooth speaker on the bike to help me calm down on the way from work. Khruangbin have been most useful, as have the acoustic Bossa nova stylings of João Gilberto. Astrid Gilberto is great, but her New York 60's Jazz stylings have been a little too hifi to translate to a speaker In a bag.
Current #earworm is the theme from The Snowman, but adapted to Woodlands Road.
#yegbike commute: ideal conditions at +7°C, with light northwest winds. Surfaces mostly good, but Mill Creek MUP and especially approach by Tubby Bateman Park quite gravely. Otherwise it was light traffic, quiet street life, few pedestrians, an plenty of birdsong. Not many rabbits this morning. #earworm ‘Don’t Pull Your Love Out On Me Baby’, Hamilton et al. No idea why this almost forgotten tune popped in. https://youtu.be/k4X1ks2pKoo?si=ZL1CV7IMVw7KDRYY

Twórczość typu "piosenkarskiego" zwykle była mi z grubsza obojętna, ale ten kawałek przyczepił się do mnie na amen po występie Sashy Velour w Wwie jakieś 3 lata temu. W tanecznym remiksie ofkors. I od tego czasu wraca. https://on.soundcloud.com/7yGWYMS9RMi8M5hh6

OMG, Chappell Roan's mom has been in my head *all night* while I slept. She keeps screaming "God, what have you done?" and going on to describe and complain about what her daughter's up to.
Man, she's exhausting.
I need a new song in my head.
#yegbike commute: merely cool at -2°C with light west by southwest winds. Traffic blessedly light, street life quiet, only a few pedestrians. Fantastic ride, surfaces mostly clean. Plenty of birdsong, rabbits bounding around, geese were making a roadblock on Griesbach MUPS, but let me pass. #earworm ‘Real, Real Gone’, Van Morrison
Discovered Nick Parker supporting The Levellers earlier in the year.
This track has been an #earworm ever since.
Enjoy!
Adriana Again by Elbow is today's earworm.
Tonight, while working on a pot of chili, an #earworm entered my head. I honestly don’t know the name of the song, as best I recall it’s part of an aria from an opera. The important thing is how I remember it, and I know it will mean something to at least one of my followers. Lola Brigita, your food I digida. #Flintstones
