INDIE BOOKSTORE DAY 2025! April 26th, 10am-6pm! Celebrate Indie Bookstore Day with Bookworks and Albuquerque’s independent bookstores! Join us at Bookworks all day for amazing raffles, wild giveaways, and to participate in the ABQ Indie Bookstore Day Passport Challenge! Stop by between 12pm and 1:30pm for typewriter poetry with Woz Flint, and join us later at 6pm for an event with Anne Hillerman. The ABQ Indie Bookstore Day Passport Challenge: This year, book lovers throughout our community are invited to join us for the ABQ Indie Bookstore Day Passport Challenge! Visit all eight participating Albuquerque independent bookstores over ten days to complete the challenge. Independent Bookstore Day is on Saturday, April 26, and the challenge must be completed by Monday, May 5. Pick up an ABQ Indie Bookstore Day Passport at the first store you visit, and collect a stamp from each participating store to earn your prize. Book lovers who collect stamps from each participating store will receive an ABQ Indie Bookstore Day Coupon, good for a one-time 10% discount at each participating store and valid until April 24, 2026.
